CWPRS Pune Recruitment 2019: Walk-in interview for Research Associate and JRF positions on December 17th, check eligibility and application process here

The CWPRS agency, also known as the Central Water and Electricity Research Station of Pune, is the state’s irrigation unit. It was primarily established by the Bombay Presidency, at the time of its inception, to address the need for irrigation, which was the main contributor to agricultural practices.

Notifications are now online, through the CWRPS, with the context of the Research Associate and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions. It is specified that the aspiring to the posts, can simply attend the recruitment process, which should take place on December 17, 2019.

Date to remember

There are no specific dates applicants need to remember. Being a walk-in walk-in, students must enter the venue by December 17th. Additionally, applicants must submit documents one week before the interview date.

Age limit to note

Aspirants wishing to apply for the position of Research Associate should not be over 32 years old, while Aspirants wishing to apply for the position of Junior Research Fellow should not be over 28 years of age.

However, the age relaxation applies to a few categories of aspirants, and these are SC / ST / OBC / Women and Physically Handicapped applicants, to be applicable in accordance with DST guidelines.

Eligible salary

The research associate is entitled to a remuneration of Rs. 47,000 / – per month + HRA, while the Junior Research Fellow will be entitled to a remuneration of Rs. 31,000 / – plus HRA.

Qualification requirements

  • For the position of Research Associate

The aspirant must have a doctorate or equivalent degree. Rather, they can also have 3 years of research / teaching and design and development experience after completing the ME / M.Tech. in civil engineering. In addition, another requirement is a research article in SCI Journal.

  • For the position of Junior Research Fellow

The applicant must have a graduate degree in basic sciences OR a graduate / post graduate degree in civil engineering. On the contrary, the applicants who are selected through the National Eligibility Tests (NET) CSIR-UGC NET, including the lectures (assistant professor) and GATE.
