Associate researcher and Junior Research Fellowship at INMAS DRDO

Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) (Defense Research and Development Organization; DRDO) Brig SK Mazumdar Marg, Timarpur, Delhi-110054 has invited applications from deserving young Indian nationals who wish to pursue defense related research for the Associate Research Fellowship (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

RA positions and eligibility are as follows: (i) RA-01 – Life Sciences (1 position): PhD in Life Sciences / Biotechnology (ii) RA-02-Chemistry (1): PhD in Chemistry (Experience in organometallic chemistry / synthesis of organic metal frameworks will be preferred) (iii) RA-03 -Pharma (2): doctorate in pharmacology / regulatory pharmacology / pharmaceutical sciences (experience in animal handling and pharmacokinetics will be preferred)
Only applicants who have obtained a doctorate / provisional certificate are eligible. The monthly allowance for these positions will be Rs. 54,000+ HRA under DRDO rules.

DRDO Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): (i) JRF-01 – Chemistry (2 positions): First Class M.Sc. in chemistry with NET / GATE qualification (JRF / LS) from any approved national agency (ii) JRF- 02 – Life Sciences (2): M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Life Sciences / Biomedical Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology with NET / GATE (JRF / LS) qualification from any approved national agency (iii) JRF-03-Pharma (1): first class M.Pharma / M.Sc. in Pharma with a NET / GPAT (JRF / LS) qualification from any approved national agency (iv) JRF-04- Physics (1): First Class M.Sc. in physics with NET / GATE (JRF / LS) qualification from any approved national agency. M.Tech. is exempt from NET / GATE. The monthly allowance for these positions will be Rs. 31,000+ HRA under DRDO rules.

The upper age limit will be 35 for RA and 28 for JRF on the date of the interview. The upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC.

Duration of occupation: The seniority of RA will be for a maximum of 2 years. The duration of the JRF will be for a maximum of 5 years. The candidate will initially work for the first two years as a JRF and then be raised as an SRF for the remaining three years, subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed annually in accordance with the rules of the DRDO and the national agency providing a scholarship. of research.
